Group and Family Based Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy Program for Early Psychosis

The Group and Family Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Early Psychosis program is a multidimensional, research-based program for individuals who have recently experienced their first psychotic episode and their family members. The program teaches participants the fundamentals of cognitive-behavioral theories, encourages them to recognize cognitive biases, and gives them the skills to evaluate and modify their beliefs in order to reduce the impact of stressful thoughts and experiences.

The program is a fifteen week program that includes three CBT modalities: Group CBT, Individual CBT, and Supportive Family CBT. Although we strongly encourage participants to make use of all three modalities, there are options to select modalities separately based on participants’ needs and preferences. For descriptions of each modality as well as pricing information, please download the document below. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the program or are interested in our services, please contact us.
